Do I have to log in to Konstella through a web browser or download the Konstella app to receive email messages from Richmond PTA or PTA classroom representatives?

Not at all.  If you only want to be sure that you receive email communications from Richmond PTA and PTA classroom representatives, you do not need to log in to Konstella through a web browser or the Konstella app after you complete your registration.  Just be sure that, when you complete the Konstella registration process, you join your child’s classroom and indicate that you want to receive email notifications from Konstella.

What if I completed my registration with Konstella, but I’m not receiving email messages from Richmond PTA or my PTA classroom representatives?

First, check your junk mail or spam folder in your email account to see if messages from Konstella have been sent there instead of to your email inbox.  If you find emails from Konstella in your junk mail or spam folder, follow your email service provider’s or email client’s process for indicating that emails from Konstella are not junk or spam.

If you don’t find any emails from Konstella in your junk mail or spam folder, check your account settings in Konstella.  To do so, log in to Konstella through a web browser, click on your name in the upper left corner, then click “Account Settings” in the drop-down menu.  Under the “Basic Info” tab, verify that your email address is correct.  Under the “Notifications” tab, find the drop-down menu for “Announcements and Events” and be sure you’ve selected an option for receiving notifications that includes email (that is, “Immediate phone notification and email,” “Immediate email,” or “Daily digest email).

Also, check to be sure you have joined your child’s classroom in Konstella.  In the drop-down menu under your name in the upper left corner, click “Your Children.”  If it indicates that your child is “Not In Any Classroom,” click “Join Classroom” and select your child’s teaching team from the list that pops up.
