Hallway and Recess Support

We’re excited to share with you our ongoing efforts to foster a safe and supportive environment at Richmond Elementary School through our Anti-Bullying Campaign and our Richmond Parent Coalition Against Bullying. Our dedicated principal, teachers, and counselors have been hard at work, and now they could use a little extra support from our wonderful parent community!

We invite you to join us as trusted adults to lend a helping hand in the hallways, during recess, and throughout transitions. Your presence can make a big difference. For more details, please refer to the latest Bulldog Bulletin.

Before you sign up, we kindly ask you to complete the Richmond Parent Volunteer Agreement 2024 and review the accompanying SLIDES. While it may seem like a lot of information, it’s essential to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding volunteering expectations.

We’ve organized volunteer slots into convenient timeframes: early morning (right after drop-off), late morning (before lunch), and afternoon (after lunch until pick-up time). We deeply value and respect everyone’s time, so whether you can stay for less than two hours or for multiple shifts, it’s entirely up to you. Additionally, there’s no designated spot for volunteering, allowing you to use your discretion (our top tip: follow the activities and show kindness wherever you go). Below are some slides we believe will be particularly helpful, although we encourage you to review them all.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to support our school community. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of our students.
