We have heard from many parents that there is a need for guidance on navigating Distance and Virtual Learning.

We are excited to welcome Ebonie Hubbard, as our Distance and Virtual Learning guest speaker. Ebonie has over 15 years in the field of Early Childhood Education with experience as a teacher, parent/teacher engagement counselor, curriculum development, guest lecturer and presenter for various school districts and universities. Ebonie currently sits on the Senior Leadership Team for the Los Angeles County Office of Education, in the Head State and Early Learning Division, which provides educational services for over 20,000 children across Los Angeles County.

Ebonie has designed a training that will improve parents’ understanding of how to effectively use strategies that support children’s learning and overall development in a distance learning environment.

Training Course Description: As parents and families begin to take on more responsibility for their children’s learning, it is important that caregivers are supported to ensure that children are successful. This one-hour training is intended to help parents and families support children in their social, emotional, and academic growth during distance and virtual learning.

There will be time for live Q & A but feel free to submit any questions or comments prior to the event as well by contacting PTA [email protected]

We hope to see you there!
